    It was the belief of people in some parts of the country that bad-minded people used to steal the butter by means of "pishogues".
    Lombardstown Creamery was established fifty years ago. From the first, nearly every farmer in the surrounding district sent his milk to the Creamery, and very few people in the district except our grandfathers and grandmothers ever saw butter made at home.
