Two Buttevant boys played with the Cork team which has won the 1938 minor grade championship' and the Cork juniors, having successfully disposed of home opposition in many a thrilling contest, will include the locally well known hurlers, John O'Mahony and Bart Thornbill in the fifteen selected to encounter a formidable London-Irish challenge at "Royal Elthain" on October 30th.
It is the fervent wish of the scribe to see at no distant date, a senior Buttevant team that will revive the glory of the "Brigadiers" and be a source of inspiration to future "Holy Terrors".- Informant
