  1. (no title) (continued)

Long ago there lived an old man and his wife in a small cabin at the foot of the mountains between the hill of Glenanaar and the Nagle mountains.

    (continued from previous page)
of a goat, and had her eating the cabbage when the master returned home. He got furious and broke a stick off the ditch and beat the goat out of the plot. The goat died from the effects of the beating.
He also visited the neighbour's cows when grazing in the field. Those people found out that any time he did this they could get no milk from the cows that evening.
It was later known that he could tie a reins to the rafter of the house, and draw milk from it into a bucket.
One night he visited a dance-hall wher ethere were boy and girls enjoying themselves. After a short time he took out a handkerchief, and rolled it up in the shape of a man and threw it on to the rafter and put it dancing over the people's heads. When the people saw this they rushed out the door. this man died soon after.
