    “About 40 years ago I was coming from a Dance in the month of May. The night was fine with a full moon I left the dance about 9 o' clock.”

    were at the dance. I said I was at two dances. He was surprised to learn that there were two dances, but was much more surprised when I told him the second dance was a the fort. It was midnight when I got home, and from that night to this I can never forget the night I played music for the dancers at the Fairy Fort.
