    Cough was cured by crossing under a donkey three times.
    A sore throat was cured by tying a goat's ear around your neck.
    Mumps were cured by the sufferer rubbing his or her neck to the spot where a black pig would rub itself.
    Cuts were treated with a piece of moss.
    A head-ache was cured by taking some Duacaillans and boiling them and then to drink the liquid would give you ease.
    Earache was cured by plunging a teaspoon into boiling water, then pour into it a little glycerine and a little borax and mix them. A few drops of this was put into the ear with a feather. Then plug the ear with cotton wool and leave for a few hours.
    Warts were cured by steeping the inner rind of a lemon twenty-four hours in
