In search of a bite to eat.
    And I went into a tailor's shop,
    I was scarcely sitting down,

Like bull dogs from the town,
I buckled up my boots, my boys,
And made out for the hills,

But thanks to God he fell,
I hid myself in a furze bush,

And if I stopped there for seven long years,
    I never would be found.
