  1. A wealthy farmer lived long ago he had a large farm of land and an number of cattle. One dark Winters night he sent his son to the creamery with the milk, the journey was a few miles to the creamery and on his way the boy had to pass a very dark corner of the road known as the "Cúalín dorca". It is said that a nun frequented that particular place of the road after mid-night.
    The boy having done his business at the creamery was returning home, as it happened to be later than usual even after mid-night, he fell asleep in the car the horse was so accustomed to the road that he knew the way home though the driver remained
