  2. The names of some of the fields on our farm are "The cottage Field", "The Nook", "Páircín na luachra," which got its name because there are rushes growing in it. The "Big Field" because it is big. "The Bridge Field because there is a bridge built over a stream running through it. "The Long Field" because it is very long. "The Paddock" is situated at the east of the house. "The Green Field" because it is always green. It is in front of the house. "The Plantation Field" gets its name from the plantation which is growing near it. It is in front of our house also. "The Well Field" because there is a well in it and it is situated near Hegarty's house. "The Three Corner
