    gathered his men and went after Fionn on horseback She took him north and as they were going they saw the horsemen after them. The mother asked Fionn what colour horse was leading he said "white" she said the grey will not do. The mother was getting tired from carrying Fionn so he got off and she went on his back. He had her caught by the legs and carried her through the worst places he could find. In the finish all he had of her was her two legs. He stopped for awhile by the bank.
