25. Clabs - The outer parts of a tree sawn off, to which the bark is attached. These are used in conutry places to make divisions or partitions in sheds, and also to act the place of a wall.
26. "hocus pocas" - Suppose a person left his house and took away all his belongings, you would say "he cleaned out of the place "hocus pocas" perhaps as a "puca"
27. Bag and baggage - He left the place bag and baggage.--He took all his belongings with him.
28. Dale the cards = deal the cards
29. Bog-dale = bog-deal
30. [Fainn'] = said when a gambler wishes his partner to rob (at cards) It means that the player who says this (1) has good cards, (2) has poor cards = "Fainne orr" na "Fainne [evr] orr"
31. Renaiged = reneged
32. As tough as a gad. - The meat is as tough as a gad. ie, very tough.
33. Damn your buttons - a sort of a swear to another who does wrong or says something unusual
