  1. In Cobh there is an unfinished monument it was put up on the Square by American people in memory of the people who were lost in the Lusitania. The sculptor a man named O'Conner went bankrupt and had not enough money to finish it.
    Only the foundation and the inscription have been put up.
    A Cross has been put up just near Carrigaloe station it is in memory of a man called O'Halloran who was shot from the opposite at Passage when he was running away from the British Forces.
