    O'Brien then moved along the ranks
    He wore a sash of green,
    "We're here", said he, "in Erin's Cause
    To see what all this means.
    We are betrayed yet there are hearts left
    As true as e'er had been
    To strike one blow for Erin's Isle
    And her down-trodden green."
    "Four rights", that was the grim command
    They march right through the town
