- This is a hole which is situated South from the crossing of the East Ferry. While Mass was being celebrated the people at the opposite side of the Ferry thronged to the seashore, and if the tide was receding the people in their eagerness to get nearer to the Holy Sacrifice pushed the stones on which they knelt out, as the tide receded. When Mass was celebrated sentries were placed in view of one another, so as to signal of approaching danger.

- This is a hill going from Belgrove to Mr Frahill's house in Morlouge. Why so it is called that name is because the people were slain there by the soldiers.
