    Poll a Tharrin:-
There are two caves known as big Poll and small Poll. It is known locally as the hole of the mountain ash as that tree grew on its banks.
    Poll a mhadra:-
So called because foxes at one time had their den there.
    Lis na Phooka:-
There is also in the vicinity a lis or mound called "Lis na Pkooka" on the extreme north eastern boundary of Walterstown and quite close to "Carraig an Aifrinn". Two old residents of the locality now deceased were supposed to have heard some unearthly kind of music underneath this lis.
