    because there is a stone in the middle of the field. The Chaple field got its name because it is the nearest field to the Chaple. The Fair field got it's name because the fair was held there.
    There is a height in Mr Creedon's field Ballyfiveen Grenagh, Co Cork, Barony of the Barretts. It is called the heather height because heather grow on it. In Mr John Walsh, Rathduff, Grenagh, Co Cork, Barony of the Barretts there is a field called the hurling field because there were hurling matches played there long ago.
