It is a cure for rheumatism. It is a weed which grows about 2ft. high. It is pulled up from the roots, washed, and put into a saucepan. It is covered over with water, and allowed to boil for a few hours, or until the juice is wholly extracted. Then the juice is strained off, and allowed to cool. It is then suitable for drinking. A cup of the juice taken each morning cured the rheumatism.
