  2. A Holy Family Story

    When the soldiers were hunting Our lord they met a dearg - a - dale and asked him did a man pass that way. He said "indé indé." They followed Our Lord along the road. He went into a field and turned into a lamb. Then the soldiers passed on and missed Our Lord.
    A dearg-a-dale is a black thing which you often see on the road-side in Summer.
    When it ever meets a Catholic it turns up its tail at them because it hates them
