which one time gave plenty fruit.
The paths and avenues of this beautiful building are now covered over with moss and grass and is unlevelled with rabbit holes who now have there boroughs in the wood.
There is a church built just outside the castle which is now also going to ruin with moss growing around it.
But Rostellan Castle besides being a massive building is also of historical interest.
It is stated that Brian Boru visited this place and left a sword which is still there.
What a pity to see such a beautiful place now going to ruin, with nobody to inhabit it, but left there.
