- The most useful of our farm animals is the cow. Without the cow we could not exist. She supplies us with milk and butter. Once a year she supplies us a calf and from that on for a period of nine months with a plentiful supply of milk. Some times the milk is sold to the Creamery Sometimes it is kept and separated and made into butter for sale and home use. It is also sold to the neighbours.
