  2. A river running through the lands of Mr Walsh of Carrignashinna Annestown is called "Ár na Sasanaig". Some people say it is so called because an Irishman and an Englishman once fought a battle there. At the start the Englishman thought the Irishman would kill him but he was only waiting for his chance.
    At last the Irishman said, "It is no use to wait here all day.
