Patrick Dalton whose near kin live still near Ballyhahill was another brave her. He gave his life wholeheartedly for Ireland's Cause in the Tan War. He and his comrades (mostly Kerrymen) were cruelly shot near Knockaure Co. Kerry on the 17th May 1921.
