  1. A Song

    Attention my friends!wait a moment

Attention my friends! wait a moment,
For years at a loss you have been
At least I have come to your rescue,
With my station at Lower Meenoline.
My fowl are the best and the largest.
The eggs without speckle or stain.
I have Rhode Island Reds and Short Horns
And barenecks bred pure to the brain
It has long been my intention.
The old breed of fowl to put down
To establish my fame Mutton Cutlets.
For a sitting I'll charge half a crown
"War Bullets" are grand on teh table.
They're fit for the King and the Queen.
They took the first prize at the congress
The likes of them never were seen
To attend to the wants of the people
A turkey cock too I will hold.
Whose fame has come down from all ages
