    wives used sit on horse-back with the husbands. If there were two weddings in the Church the parties would have a race home. Usually rice or confetti is thrown on the married couple. Sometimes an old shoe is thrown after the couple for luck.
    It is most exciting to see the married couple being roped. At this being done they are supposed to throw up some money.
    The Hauling Home.
    The old custom of hauling home is great sport. A crowd of invited guests are gathered to the home of the bride. They sing and dance and make merry. They eat and drink galore. Next the "Sappers" come looking for money and drink
