    his name was Sean Byrnes. One day he rode a horse to the top of Turnhill, and as he was passing Flaherty's forge. He asked Flaherty for a coal of fire to light his pipe, and Flaherty got a coal and put it on the anvil and he brought it to Sean.
    Sean took a hold of the end of the anvil and put the coal into his pipe, and he handed the anvil to Flaherty again. A man lived in Rooska one time and his name was John Mc Emery. One day he was at a fair in NewCastle West, and he had a row with another man, and it took seven men to hold him and one to hold his hat.
