    They agreed that one should watch the pot while the others closed the hole.
    After a while they heard a great noise behind them and on looking back they perceived nothing. When they turned their heads again the pot was gone and they could see a little man rushing away.
    They pursued him, but his speed was twice their own and soon he was gone out of sight. So they returned home disappointed, heavy hearted and tired.
