On finding this Dick was very pleased and said that it would be right for him to give something to the cobbler that directed him the gold.
So he said he would go to Limerick and visit the cobbler. He did and when he was in the house with the cobbler he asked him how much would he want to start him up in business of his own. The cobbler said if he got a hundred pounds for a year he would be a millionaire at the end of the time.
Dick gave him the money and returned home. When he revisited Limerick at the end of the year the cobbler was very rich. Dick left him the hundred pounds and the end of the story was that both were very rich henceforth.- Collector
