He then locked all the doors and windows in the house as the coulter was reddening a woman came screaming to the door crying for mercy that she was burning alive and that she would never again do any harm. The man was in no hurry to relieve her or to let her in but for a finish he took the coulter from the fire and opened the door and she came in and the other woman was able to make her butter from that out
