- There are Piseógs in parts of Ireland. The old people used to say that the piseóg came from Mayo. The Mayo people used to sell unlucky things and the people who bought them had never good luck. The people bought the things because they were nice and paid very dearly for them. They did not know the plan of the Mayo people. Since that time the people's cows are slinging, and eggs are found in their hay, and dead things found in their land.
