    went home and ate the red herring. As soon as he did he went and lay down on the bank and put his mouth over the water and all at once he felt something in side in him and out walked the old lizard with her eight young ones. When the lizards heard the water flowing they were so thirsty that they came out. After that the man felt as well as ever.
