    How were the players dressed? - They used to wear small jackets and short trousers and they had different colours on them.
    What type of ball was used? - A big slitter of about seven lbs weight.

    If not, how was the goal-space marked? - Whichever side would have the ball inthe opposite side they would win.
    Was hurling played in the district in former times? - It was.
    What kind of hurleys were used? - Big, common, rough hurleys were used in former times.
    Describe the ball? - It was a big slitter made of leather.
