    A. The pine. Because it is always pining.
    Q. In and out it is like a trout slippers wet and greasy?
    A. A person's tongue.
    Q. What is half the moon like?
    A. The other half.
    Q. Which is the oldest tree in the world?
    A. The elder.
    Q. What do Japanese put into their stockings at Christmas?
    A. Their feet.
    Q. How many legs has a Bombay duck?
    A. None, because it is an instrument.
    Q. Under water over water and never touches water?
