    7. Its a custom to have a wedding cake, and the bride cuts the cake while the bride-groom holds her hand.
    8. In olden times the cake was held over the bride and bridegroom's head to be cut, and it was a sign that they would be full of plenty always.
    9. It used to be a custom for Irish boys to disguise themselves and dance at the bride's home the night of the wedding.
    10. Its a custom for the bride not to return to her own home until one month has elapsed after her wedding.
    11. It is unlucky to get married in May.
