    11. It is customary to hang a knot of black crepe on front door and a black edged envelope with name of deceased peson and the time of the funeral.

    13. Widow's wore heavy mourning called widow's weeds - lots of black crepe trimming and a thick black veil.
    14. White flowers are put on a young person's grave, and purple on an old person's grave.
