Hailed from Ballinuana, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. Used to walk to and fro every morning and evening, the double journey amounting to about fourteen miles. Came of a very patriotic Southern family and took part in every Irish-Ireland movement. Was hanged in Kilmallock on 23/April/1798 for participation in the United Irishmen movement.
