A cure for tooth-ache - a pool of water on a stone found accidentally cures it.
Two very interesting cures for warts are, count the warts then count that number of small stones, then rub your fasting spit on to them and put them into a bag, then throw them over your shoulder at a cross roads. The first person to get them takes the warts.
The other cure is if a person who has warts gets a penny without asking for it and is told to give it to give it to somebody else if he does this the warts will disappear. These two cures have cured people in this parish of warts.
