Patrick O'Dwyer of Fahanasoodry who lived about 1885 was a noted Herb Doctor. Fahanasoodry is in the Co. Limerick, Coshlea and about three miles south west of Ballylanden.Rash - Boiled nettles.

Warts - (a) Getting a corresponding number of sops to that of the warts and bury them. According as the sops rotted the warts disappeared
(b) Put a corresponding number of stones in a little bag and place the bag at the cross of 4 roads. Whoever picks up the bag first will take the warts.
(c) Get a snail and rub it to the warts and then hang him on a bush by sticking a thorn through him. According as the snail withers so will the warts surely disappear.
