    Lough Gur Side
    III
When Summer comes; the cuckoo's note
Is heard from tree to tree
The lark sings soaring to the sky
    All the birds sing merrily.
But that feathered throng has no tune or song
Than the harp with all its pride
    * I'd for ever stray with that maid so gay
    Down by Lough Gur side.

    * Those two lines - at the end - do not fit in very well. I am sure they are the wrong lines. I shall try and get the right lines. /T.L./
