  2. "Nine nights and a night we won't speak of From Sulie-night to Night of Martin."
    St Martin fell into a mill on the 11th of November and was cut up in pieces. And since that day the mills are not working on that day in honour on his death. It is also said that there is a goose or some fowl killed on that night and a rag is dipped in the blood and kept for a cure for a headache.
