- They still come around here. They are very poor. Some sell cans and brooches and others things. More of them begs. No one like to see them coming around. They sleep in caravans. They travel in crowds. Their names are Sherdans and Quiligans. They come in the summer time. They would ask for every thing in the house. Their clothes are always torn. They sometimes have no boots or stocking. Some of them are savage fellows.
