  2. About 30 years ago a man named Tom Laffan, Bilboa, Cappamore, Co Limerick made baskets. He cut sally rods and worked them through each other to make the baskets. His son John who is still alive can make baskets also. Not many years ago John made calf-baskets and sold them to farmers. But he has given up making baskets now.
