Fennessys Fort:
A Fenian soldier was shot near here and his ghost is seen in the fort. - Of the many forts all are of circular shape, surrounded by a fence of clay. It is said that a family whose name is still common in the district interfered once with a fort and suffered for years afterwards with sickness and misfortune.
