    One Sunday as Mr. Farrell who is a native of Ballinanima, three miles east of Kilmalloch, was going to Mass he saw a trunk of a tree sticking out of the ditch by the way side. He tied the ass and car in which he was driving to it.
    On returning from Mass he found that the ass had pulled the truck out on the road. He thew it up on the car and took it home.
    Next day when he was breaking it for the fire, two tins containing gold and silver fell out of it. Now he is rich and happy and he is living in a cosy home.
