  1. A True Story
Long ago there was a man ploughing in a field and when it was time for dinner two of his children - a boy and a girl - came out to mind the horses.
While the man was away the boy looked into a field and he saw a great many little boys hurling and as the boy had a hurley with him he went out to hurl with the other little boys.
He was hurling with them for about half an hour and he could never get a stroke at the ball. All of a sudden the boy vanished and the other boy never saw them again.
But while they were hurling they boy got a stroke on the knee and was lame for some time.
