    The goat is called by meig - meig She is supposed to be lucky among cattle or sheep, because she eats all the poisonous herbs that cause disease among cattle.
    It is not lucky to exchange borrow or lend broody hens. If eggs are borrowed, a luckpenny is given, also if they are exchanged. This penny is given for fear the luck would be taken away with the eggs.
