August 1934.A family named Barry lived at a place in Terryglass now called Barryhill. In the days of the yeoman soldiers came to set the house on fire.
Councillor Maunsell was called to give protection and when he arrived he ordered the yeomen away in the king's name. The house was saved through his timely arrival.(no title)
