    It is unlucky to take a wedding present to the house of the bride on the day of her wedding.
    If you put your left boot on first on a Monday morning it is a sign you are getting a parcel.
    You should never throw out ashes on a Monday becase you throw out your luck.
    It is unlucky to break a mirror it brings
