- This is a field beside the "moat field". A cock of hay stood there one time & it was lifted up by some "unknown power" and carried over the water of Lough Derg. Next day it was carried back to the same place again.
- The man named Helebert had a dream that there was gold hidden in this field. He took some "geana" (Easter Water) with him & started digging for the gold. The bull with chains came from the Shannon (Lough Derg) & attacked him. He kept sprinkling the "geana" but at last his strength failed & he had to go home. It appeared that when a person had money hidden he usually shot a person or a bull to look after it for him.
