    Cappanahanna is situated between Newport and Murnoe, and two miles from the latter.

    Cappanahana is situated between Newport and Murroe, and two miles from the latter. Once upon a time there lived in that district a man named Mr Michael Fleming. It is said that this man possessed a wonderful charm, and that it was in his power to cure several ailments, if he wished. His charm was so powerful, that several times, he even cured people at a distance.
