- (continued from previous page)People have been cured from all kinds of diseases by making "rounds" at 'Tobar Geal' and by having implicit faith in the virtue of the well. Persons who give "rounds" there, drink the well water, and rub their sores and aching limbs with the water that flows from the well.
'Tobar Geal' is surrounded by a clump of white-thorn trees, round which people go when giving "rounds."
What has been said of 'Tobar Geal' with regard to cures applies to Cragg Well. We are told that there was a trout in the holy Well of Cragg for several years, and anyone who saw the trout while making "rounds" was sure to be cured.- Collector
