    William Young who lived in Rusheen used go to Mass bare- footed, and he used be barefooted every day. He never got a pair of boots until he was sixteen years old.
    His father had a pair of clogs that were too small for him, those William got and wore.
    I got this information from Michael Mc Grath, Birchgrove, Hollyford.
